Samantha (Sam) is a research analyst in the Galea lab. She completed her MSc. in Neuroscience with the Galea lab at the University of British Columbia, studying the role of sex and APOE genotype on neural stem cells and maturation of new neurons in a model of Alzheimer’s disease. She is passionate about women’s health research and effective translation of scientific findings into comprehensible information for all members of society.
